In the Prophecies manual, isn't the second shown during the tale of Saul D'Alessio and the Mursaat? In which case, aren't those the Mursaat? They sure look like them. They're huge, but maybe that's just for dramatization in the artwork.

That first image was one of the leaked pictures back before Nightfalls release when everyone thought Dhuum was the fallen god. It was named Abaddon and led to people becoming curious as to what this Abbadon was (until the preview weekend). Judgeing by the storyboard for what looked like a scrapped Nightfall cinematic and the fact he has those 6 eyes and Abaddons features i can only say its him before being cast down.

The second image is shown in the Propecies manual directly under the story of Doric and the Bloodstones. It also represents a King begging to gods anyway.

I always thought that the current gods are 6 non-gods that took the place of previous gods.

Abaddon could have been the last of the previous ones.

??? -> Balthazar
Dhuum -> Grenth

Now, for a while, there were 6 Gods - Balthazar, Grenth, Dwayna, Lyssa, Melandru, and Abaddon. A Forgotten in the Realm of Torment (I forget which) says that Abaddon usurped his power from another God as well.
Pre-Abaddon's Exile
??? -> Balthazar
Dhuum -> Grenth
??? -> Dwayna
??? -> Lyssa
??? -> Melandru
??? -> Abaddon

We currently don't know if Lyssa, Melandru, Dwayna, and Balthazar took their powers from past Gods. Mind Balthazar has a half-brother, Menzies, meaning he more likely was born into Godhood (considering his biological brother has demigodly powers, and I doubt by coincidence both had usurped some God/Demigod for power). The others, we have no idea.

Was there a messaging/mailbox system in the betas of GW? I joined GW a couple weeks after release and missed out on the BWEs and other prerelease events.

as you can read from the description, shaemor is a location in kryta, it is more likely linked with the lunar/chinese new years festival... No idea when its going to happen, because if im not mistaken its TODAY (or very very soon)
